I believe all children can learn and achieve anything their minds can conceive. I am ready to serve as a vehicle to help ensure our schools are providing opportunities for all of its students to excel. This includes:

- Providing resources needed for students to learn, educators to teach, and support staff to work without disruption due to lack of equipment
- Executing curriculum and content designed to meet students where they are and help them move to the next level
- Seeking sustainability measures that lead to a cleaner and safer Sumter School District

Shaping The Future
I was reared in Sumter County; I attended schools in Sumter County; I was an educator in Sumter County; And now I am back to serve Sumter County. The key is educating, empowering, and enriching. A focused plan can help accomplish this.
Education
- Work together with administration to improve teacher, staff, and other support staff compensation
- Hire the right teachers, with the right mindset and skills to teach and challenge students to achieve excellence
- Offer a variety of courses and classroom learning environments aimed at career and college-bound choices for students
Accountability
- Live the district’s vision, mission, and values/beliefs
- Ensure honest and accurate information to parents, teachers, and students
- Work together with administration to improve teacher and staff compensation
Transparency

- Seek grants and funding that can be used to advance the educational experience for every child
Safety
- Exercise measures to identify and stop bullying and violence in schools
- Establish and encourage an open policy for students to report threats and/or potential harm without fear of retaliation
- Take advantage of realignment to keep classroom sizes at an acceptable teacher:student ratio
